THE ORACLE by W W PAHL 1928 Original Pencil drawing Signed 8.5" x 10" Drawing Outer mat: 10.5" x 12.5" The drawing is signed by the artist, W W Pahl The title of the piece, "The Oracle" is written in pencil on the bottom border of the back sheet. The drawing is attached to the back sheet by glue along the top border of the drawing. This original artistic portrait is 97 years old. During 1928, the "oracle" was a very popular theme in the arts and in literature. The portrait reminds me of the poet, Robert Graves [maybe?]. There is no indication as to who is the person in the portrait. A very well executed antique original drawing. An original drawing, no longer on sale.
